In class, we’ll dive into creating diary comics together. Our theme is thorny family issues. In each class, we’ll work through prompts, practice new comics techniques, and share our work for encouraging feedback. The goal of our class is to build our capacity for exploring our most vulnerable stories and to develop develop bravery to tell the stories that tug at us. Together, we’ll approach challenging stories with tenderness and find joy in the making, while cultivating a diary comics practice.
Who: you, me, and up to 12 people (18+ years old)
